First off, shipping came early which is always nice. Second, my first impression of the glove when I took it out of the packaging: very clean looking no obvious marks or defects and felt really solid. Clearly solid leather being used! Next, the break in process was surprisingly easy. I used a pretty standard break in method for all my gloves: conditioner, mallet work for hinges and catch them repeat. Some of my gloves I’ll use a warm water dunk to further break in or mold the gloves but in this case that was not needed. Glove broke in nearly practice ready (not game ready) within an hour. The glove is fairly stiff but not as stiff as an a2000 and is just slightly less stiff than my ssk z9. However the comfort is better and broke into my hand quicker than the previously mentioned. Took it out for fun to my men’s league and slow pitch and it did not disappoint. I felt extremely confident with the glove as it held shape and showed little to no wear (I’m not delicate with my gloves). All in all I gave it a 4/5 due to the abnormally quick break in process (which isn’t a bad thing for some) which makes me wonder about the glove long term. That said so far a great glove and will absolutely be buying another one soon.
